e90 Headlight project

Ok so i bought a pair of zomk speed headlights and i got tired of waiting for them to send me the information to exchange them. and im afraid to put them in my car anyway because they are not built very well. so i baked the lights tonight to pull off the housing.. so what im thinking is maybe i can buy another set of halogens and pull the cover off of them and could just swap the covers. they already have halo rings but i was also considering upgrading the halos to a brigher version because i hear the zomk speed ccfl halos keep dying because of the power supply. anyone know if the oem housing and lense is different from some aftermarket versions.. because if anything im going to pull out the clear reflector and replace it and add some halos... advice.....info.... tell me what you are thinking...

also how are the mounting points for other halo systems.. lux 5 or MyCar system....

ill put some pictures of what im doing tomorrow.. and the progress... the covers came off the housing really easy 150 in tghe oven 15 minutes quick pull apart little damage to the housing nothing noticable... a little heat should flatten it out.. but im not using those zomk speed housings anyway...

uh..... you don't 'glue' the halos onto your halogen headlights. Halos only comes with factory HID headlights. Lux 5 and other systems that make the factory angel eyes brighter by changing the light source.

Do some reading on here before you go nuts and f up your headlights

MyCarr makes a halo insert kit, i have ccfl halos already mounted into the housing cover, thus the reason im looking for the information... the my car sets come with led halos or ccfl. I also already contacted a company about upgrading the inverters because from what i hear the zomk speed inverters suck... other then that im buying another set of headlights so i can play with them. if it doesnt work ill throw them away. No harm no foul..

so to add even more asset to injury i tested the halo rings in my zomk speed lights and 3 of the halos were broken. out of the 2 lights only one halo works... nothing like a little more good news...

i got a pm for some headlights so im trying to get all the stuff ordered so when i get back from training in a month it will he here and i can get to work.. i guess my end all and be all goal is to be different... i figure why not be one of the odd and have halogen style headlights with halos and euro corners... i want to add hids anyway.. but everyone is like projectors this and projectors that... maybe its just not my stile to go with the flow.

From my stand point i think its going to work very well but i have to wait until i get the oem headlights in and the new halos from european auto source. once i get those chings and crack the oems open i should have a better look on the project.. i should have tons of pictures and information when i get back from germany on october first..
