Alpine White or Space Gray?

Help me decide what color for my E92? I'm stuck on the two. The wife has a Sparkling Graphite E90.

Space grey for 328/335, alpine white for the m3 (due to carbon fiber roof, shadowline trim and the black around the mirrors for contrast)

edit-maybe alpine white since you'll have two greyscale cars in the garage.

Please remember the thickness of non-metallic paint (e.g. alpine white) is about 3 layers thinner than metallic paint.

I really like alpine white, but I chose a metallic color because of this reason.

Good point ^

I would chose Alpine White between the two choices. Otherwise go with Montego Blue, but since I've got that already, I'd rather see more white and grey cars on the road.

i dont find that significant. sooner or later you will get rockchips all over the car and that thickness won't even play a role. what's the benefit of actually having those extra 3 layers?

My last car was black. I would have to wash it 4x a week, and it looked dirty the other 3 days a week, on a good full detail it MIGHT look good for 3 days.
