With MOVE Map, you likely need a CHAMP2 Firmware update and then update to 2017 before updating to 2023.

If I do have champ2, do I still need to upgrade to 2017 before upgrading to 2023?

If you have MOVE Map, you have CHAMP2 Head Unit.

Yes, you almost certainly need a firmware update, then 2017 map, then 2023 map.

Dealer would have to program car with latest ISTA or you would have to flash CHAMP2 Head Unit with WinKFP and latest SP-Daten, for which you would need an ICOM Interface.
