Hi everyone new to this community as a newbie after buying my 2nd car (2015 320i m sport) around 2 months ago with just under 70k miles..
Recently ive been hearing this strange rattle noise when cold starting the car, it would do this for 30 seconds then disappear either on its own or when accelerating. When the engine is warm the rattle is barely noticeable.

Ive looked at different posts here and im not sure wether this could be wastegate rattle (unfortunate lol) and if so would this be a pain to sort out?
This rattle in my opinion sounds a little different to any other videos i watched of others with similar issue which is making me scratch my head.
