That's not how you diagnose the timing chain problem. When it's getting ready to self destruct you'll hear a high pitched whine when the engine is revved. You should replace the timing chain tensioner ASAP. As to the rest, do a search, there's at least a dozen threads on this subject.

You’ve already been told twice on Reddit that is not how you check the tension. How many times and places are you going to keep asking?

replace timing chain and guides better than replacing the entire engine.
